Remember my post clear back in April about
Well I finally scheduled my first fix, and I got it the beginning of this month.
I would say on a scale from 1-10 (one being I hated it, and ten being "it was awesome")
I'd say it was about a 6.
I didn't know how to feel about it, but I also knew that it was just the first fix.
So what happens?
You get a box of 5 items
I got 4 shirts, and one pair of jeans.
From far away, they did a good job. That's my style
Flowy shirts, and skinny jeans
Then I put them on....
Pretty cute, really soft Gray striped shirt
I got a medium, and it was pretty big
I also have something just like it...
NEXT
I didn't like how easily this shirt wrinkled
It seemed high maintenance and I wasn't having it.
NEXT
Orange is not a good color on me, but I liked the fit of this one
NEXT
This was the only shirt I liked
I'll tell you why I didn't buy it in a minute
NEXT
The JEANS
Notice how I don't have a picture? They were that bad. I'm normally a size 4, this size 4 fit like a size 6.
They almost came up to my belly button and I had "saggy butt"
Oh and they weren't skinnys, they were straight.
Horrible.
So that was my first experience. I know you're thinking
What a waste of time, and what a waste of $20
BUT. I'm going to give it another try.
My next fix should arrive the end of this month and hopefully it will be a better experience.
The best part about it is that you can go online and for each item you can leave a comment.
For instance,
I love the styles and the colors, but I need a smaller size & I hate that they are all a hand wash only material.
If it's hand-wash-only, I won't wear it..or I won't wash it. Too high maintenance for me.
So let's say I wanted all of that, what was my price?
4 shirts and one pair of jeans= $166.50
That includes 25% off the order because it's ALL items, and my $20 credit towards the purchase.
So why didn't I buy that shirt only?
Well, just that one shirt was $44.00.
THAT'S A TANK OF GAS FOR ME!
Thanks Elizabeth, but try again
I'm cheap. I like deals. I shop TJ Maxx & Ross
I don't like spending a lot of money on clothes, my style changes a lot and I just like DEALS.
So, I sent it all back and I was out $20.
The only way I see this working out, is if I liked and bought every item so I got a discount, but still, that's over $150 for 5 items.
Like I said in my previous post, this could be risky, but I was gonna try it.
I tried it, I sent back my comments about each item and then I just wrote for my next fix "keep it cheap."
I've heard good things about it, so I'm giving them a second chance.
