Kirk Wedding: Mr & Mrs. Kirk

Almost three weeks into our marriage and I love this man so much!

It's definitely not easy, but it's worth it!

There's no one else I'd rather go through the "first year of marriage" trials with!

Kirk Wedding: The Cake

We were a little late cutting our cake, I think it was about 9:30 PM haha

We had a "cake wager" and basically whoever got the most money in their jar wore the frosting.

We both won, or lost...

He ended up with $19, and I ended up with $12 and a bottle cap (apparently that's not worth anything)

So he was supposed to be the ONLY one wearing the frosting....

We cut the cake and when I went to smash it in his face I realized it was fondant and it was not going to smear on his face like I wanted it to. Well, after I had got done eating my piece I went to walk off and my cousin handed me a cupcake (with frosting on top).

I grabbed the frosting off, and at this time his back was toward me and I reached around and just smeared his face with all the frosting. 

It was in his sideburns, his beard, his hair, his nose...etc

He didn't think it was fair, and before I knew it we both had frosting all over our face.

I loved it!

We LOVED our cake, it was a 3 tier but the bottom tier was styrofoam.

The top tier was Blueberry Pancake 

The second tier was Peach & Raspberry with real fruit.

I loved the style of it, I loved everything about it!

My mom had to make that cake topper the night before my wedding because the one we ordered never got made, and she finished it the day of.

Isn't she amazing?

Kirk Wedding: The Decor

The Decor of the Kirk Wedding was very vintage/elegant

I borrowed most of this stuff from people in our town

We hired a decorator to help piece it all together, her name is Staci and she did awesome.
