Resolutions for 2015

Hope you all had a Happy New Year! We rang in the New Year snuggled up on the couch, my poor hubby had the flu and was just out the whole day, and pretty much all of New Years Day.
I woke him up at the 20 second countdown, he was probably really out of it but I wanted a kiss!
I'm so selfish...and I'll probably get the flu from it too. Oh well!
So John's New Year started out with a kiss he did not give consent to ha ha but I couldn't start the New Year without it.

If how you spend your New Years day is any relation to how you'll spend your entire year, then consider us the biggest couch potato, Netflix watching, newlyweds ever. I guess I did a load of laundry and hung up a new shower curtain, hell I even took a shower but other than that, I'd say we were pretty lazy. He was sick though, so he had an excuse. I was flat out lazy, and I loved every minute of it. First of all, I hate NYE I've always thought it was overrated and I am pretty surprised the last two years I've even lasted until midnight. I'm usually in my PJs on the couch, sober.
New Years resolutions, in my opinion, are also overrated.

Don't get me wrong, I like to set goals and I'm definitely a planner but I don't create a list of resolutions and check them off when I get them done. I just live my life.
Saying that, there are some things that I probably SHOULD do but won't.
I probably should work-out more
I probably should start running, and run a marathon
I probably should save money
I definitely should drink more water
I probably should wake up earlier, spend more time getting ready
I probably shouldn't drink coffee every single day
I could go on and on about things I should do that I probably won't, I might, but I'm not going to make these things "goals" or "resolutions."

Here's what I am passionate about, that I will try my best to work on this year.

My faith
The kind of wife I am
The kind of step-mom I am
A better relationship with my niece
Finishing our Master Bedroom, and starting the next project
Getting my medical "shiz" figured out
Drinking more water
Working on myself, my depression & anxiety and getting rid of negative energy
Feeling better about the person I am
Learning how to sew, now that I have a sewing machine I can't let it collect dust
My attitude towards anything & everything
So here's to a new year, and the same me just a little bit of tweaking here and there.

What about you? What are your New Years Resolutions?
